- Hi, my name is Robert Hooke. I was the one who found many boxlike cavities in cork and called them cells. This is how I created the term, "cell".
- I'm Robert Brown. I was the one who discovered the nucleus and what it does. A fun fact about me is I spent five years in the British army serving in Ireland.
- My name is Theodor Schwann. I extended to the cell theory by discovering that all animals are made of cells.
- Hello. I am Matthias Schleiden. I found out that all plants are also made of cells.
- I am Rudolf Virchow. I discovered that cells come from other cells to contribute to the cell theory.
- The first part of the cell theory is all organisms are made up of cells. This is supported by the findings of Theodor Schwann and Matthias Schleiden since they discovered that plants and animals are made of cells.The second part of the cell theory is cells are the basic unit of structure and function. This was also discovered by Schwann and Schleiden after they had done lots of research about cells in different organisms.The final part of the cell theory is cells come from preexisting cells. This was discovered by Rudolf Virchow.
