The struggles of workers in the Industrial Revolution in England are different from today.
The video Private Life of the Industrial Revolution stated that there was a Factory Act that was passed down and it made children under the age of 9 couldn’t work. Also, they would need 2 hours of education per day.
This is different from today because children aren’t able to work until the age of 14 and would need more than 2 hours of education.
During a school day, a child can only work 3 hours, which shows that we care more about education now than in the Industrial Revolution.
HAHAHA!!
WEEEEE!!
This is important because there is a 5-year difference between the age limit to work in the United States.
In conclusion, the struggles of workers in the Industrial Revolution in England are unlike the working limits now.
