- Title of the story: My Favorite Chaperone.By: Oluwatamilore Aladoejbi. 8E
- Exposition: The main charter Maya is introduced, and her family moved to the U.S Tho her parents are still not comfortable with the strange way of living there. Maya started school she received a letter to the school dance by the most popular girl at school. Now she has to convince her parents to let her go.
- Conflict: maya tries to ask if she should take gymnastics though her mom was in disagreement her parents later on said yes, but she was still stunned with the thou9ght of the school dance. Rising action: her brother gets in a fight at school her dad gets mad at her and him then she got caught in the hands of an American boy which makes everything worst and both her mom and dad got mad at her and now she was for a fact not sure about the dance. climax: her mom breaks her leg and maya has to take on her jobs for her. Falling action: maya really wanted to go to the school dance. so her brother asked for her. Resolution: her parents said yes but her brother has too there with her.
