- As a child, he was told by his father that he was worth so much more than he might seem.
- This is ridiculous! The Rights Of Man was just issued and the plantation owners STILL want to have slavery?! Something needs to be done about this!
- As he became an adult, he realized that change needed to come.
- With Toussaint at the lead, many slave revolts started and helped start the end slavery in Saint Dominique.
- WE WANT OUR FREEDOM!!!
- And after the end of slavery, Toussaint helped eject the British and Spanish out of Haiti.
- Welcome Toussaint. Now that you are here... GUARDS! Arrest this man and place him in the dungeon!
- But things took a turn for the worst when Toussaint was called to France by Napoleon.
- Toussaint was thrown into prison by Napoleon and was left there to die by starvation and cold. Although, his legacy was continued by the people of Haiti and they were eventually able to drive Napoleon out of Haiti.
