Storyboard Tekst

  • Look at the small scale molecules! These molecules are essentially invisible even with high tech microscopes!
  • I'm a cell animator and I animate the processes of small-scale molecules! How, you may ask? Well...
  • I'm the one who helps cell animators do their work because I study these miniscule molecules and gather research to form a hypothesis
  • Now for some example of cell animations my colleagues and I have created! (PS: there are other examples but these are just a few)
  • Molecular version of Semi-truck=Motor Proteins
  • Action: Part of the cells cytoskeletons. Constantly grows and allows cell to change shape, move around, adhere to surfaces, and eat bacteria
  • Walk along microtubules dragging big things (organelles, etc.) behind them
  • Microtubules: Another part of the cytoskeleton. Responsible for long range transportation
  • Help pull apart proteins in a cell efficiently to make room for change
  • Donut-Shaped Proteins
  • Now, Though it may seem like us animators and scientists know a lot there is much room for the unknown in our work. This is because we usually only rely on an hypothesis and there is still so much to learn about cell structure!
