Storyboard Tekst

  • Act I Scene i Line 10
  • "Fair is foul, and foul is fair,Hover through the fog and filthy air."
  • Act II Scene ii Line 57-62
  • "My hands are of your color, but I shame to wear a heart so white."
  • "How is ’t with me when every noise appalls me? What hands are here? Ha, they pluck out mine eyes."
  • Act III Scene iv Line 40-43
  • "Here had we now our country’s honor roofed, were the graced person of our Banquo present, who may I rather challenge for unkindness than pity for mischance."
  • They use repetition, rhyme, and alliteration. They repeat 2 words and then they use air that rhymes with fair. They are casting a spell into the cauldron to put spells on someone or to mess with someone.
  • Act IV Scene ii Line 69-82
  • " Whither should I fly?I have done no harm. But I remember nowI am in this earthly world."
  • "He's a traitor."
  • They use symbolism and metaphor. They use symbolism when Lady Macbeth talks about the blood on her hands. They use the metaphor when Macbeth is talking about his eyes getting plucked out.
  • Act V Scene VIII Line 20 and 25
  • "We'll have thee, as our rarer monsters are, painted upon a pole and underwrit"
  • "That keep the word of promise to our ear and break it to our hope. I'll not fight with thee."
  • This is ironic in relation to the situation because he is saying that since Banquo couldn't attend the banquet, his house doesn't have honor under it. There's no honor as Macbeth was the one who planned Banquo's death, but none of their guests know about this.
  • Act V Scene VIII Line 69-70
  • "Producing forth the cruel ministers, of this dead butcher and his fiend-like queen"
  • They use irony. Lady Macduff is talking about where she should go and how she has done nothing wrong, yet in this world doing harm is praisable and good acts are considered a dangerous act.
  • "He has killed me, mother. Run away, I pray you."
  • They use metaphor. The monsters aren't actually painted on a pole. It uses the motif of sight when talking about how to see the monsters on the pole.
  • They use irony. This shows how Malcolm wants the people who helped Macbeth to suffer the consequences of their actions; and how he wants all the friends who were exiled to come back.
