- Hey, look. I'm sorry but we are gonna have to let you go. After everyone lost their savings during the stock market crash, we can't afford to pay all of our employees. And we would rather have young men then women working for us.
- This is crazy. I need my army bonus money or else I won't be able to support myself.
- WE WANT OUR BONUS!
- I can't even afford my house anymore, I guess this will have to do. I can try to find something to do tomorrow.
- Gets laid off of work because they can't afford to pay her after the stock market crash.
- I can try to become a a farmer. This is a pretty self sufficient job.
- Joined bonus army marches to try and get money.
- This sucks, just as I was starting to support myself the dust bowl happened. I should just go to California intead.
