- Huh? Grandpa doesn't remember me!
- Grandpa Critelli moves in w/his son and family.
- Grandpa has terrible table manners and constantly breaks dishes!
- Your father is making me miserable. He doesn't remember anything! He's breaking all my dishes and making dinnertime horrible. DO SOMETHING or else!
- Grandpa often does not remember his family. He feels very depressed.
- Why am I here? Who are these people and why are they treating me so badly. Where is my family? I want to leave!!
- Okay, we will sit Grandpa at a table by himself during dinner so you don't have to watch him eat and make a mess of his food! I will give him a wood bowl to eat from so he won't break anymore dishes.
- So Grandpa sits alone at a table in the corner while his family eats from the dinner table w/o him. He feels like an outcast and knows something is wrong. No one speaks to him.
- Michael observes Grandpa all by himself. He watches his parents too. He takes it all in!
- The Critelli's drive to the ocean. Grandpa goes too.
- Michael and his Dad play all day at the ocean while Cathy watches Grandpa. Grandpa sees his son and he has a moment where he remembers. A tear rolls down his face. He is like a prisoner in his mind.
