- It was the night before I ran the marathon along with my father. I was hysterically crying because I was having a mental breakdown. I was thinking to myself that I would be a huge disappointment to my family because they would always consider me as someone who would get the job done and not give up.
- Climax
- I later went to the restroom to wipe my tears as if nothing ever happened. I was heading to the living room where my parents were at. They were watching a movie, and I broke down at that instant because I wasn't feeling good about myself. My parents later heard me crying because they were right there next to me, and tried to calm me down without knowing what was happening to me. I later told them what I was feeling and was crying for the rest of the night because I had the thought in my brain that I wouldnt be able to finish it.

- It was a dark and cold morning. I woke up, got dressed, and woke my dad up. I used the restroom, and got our necessities. We got in the car and drove to the park. I was feeling very static about the whole situation and the time came to star running. I started the timer to record my time. It was 6:00 and my schools SRLA team got prepared to start. I had already done 5 miles. When I was around 15 miles I was tired and thought to myself that i wouldnt make it to the finish line.

- I was around mile 18 and I started having a mental breakdown and my dad of course heard me and started talking to me. He later asked what was wrong and I told him how I was feeling. After doing so he later told,¨When soldiers are at war with another country, they dont stop because someone that was very important to them died. They keep going to finish their mission and what they signed up for. That kind of inspired me to keep going but my legs were literally going to collapse
