- The theme that I think fits the best for Monsters are due on Maple street Is Human kind is its own worst enime One of my reasons to support my theme is that in part one of the story, nothing is working the power is going out and even the cars are not working but then all the sudden Les Goodsmans car starts and stops by its self then everyone starts to accuse him of working with the aliens. My second reason is in part two of the story Charlie grabs the gun from Steve and shoots the black mysterous figure but then shortly after the find out it is Pete van horn who charlie shot every panics and calls charlie a murder and chases after him. The third reason is that after everyone has caught up to Charlie he says he will admit who the monster is he says it is the little boy, everyone all sudden believes Charlie and starts to yell at the young boy asking him hundreds of questions. My last reason is that Charlie and Steve were good friends in the start but then someone asks Steve about his ham radio Charlie gets adjectated and starts to yell and scream at Steve and start to accuse him of working withe aliens. Those are my few reason for why my theme fits the best for Monster are due on maple street
