- The Boston Tea Party happened on December 16. 1773. It was when the Sons of Liberty dressed up as native Americans and threw 1,000,000 dollars worth of tea into the Boston harbor. The reason this happened is because the sons of liberty wanted to revolt against the tea act.
- After the Boston Tea party, Britain got tired of the revolts and in exchange, blocked the Boston Harbor, enforced quartering acts, and stopped town meetings. This di stop some stuff, however, groups like the sons of liberty were still able to meet secretly.
- The last event leading up to the Revolutionary War was the Committees of Correspondence. This was a system that was used to spread important information through letters, horseback, etc. Without it, people in other colonies would probably not know what was happening with Great Britain's taxes/plans.
