- I’ll think my mom will let me because I don’t feel sick anymore!
- Ugh. No, I can’t. I think I’m getting sick. My throat is so sore and I’m keep on coughing. I just want to lay in bed all day, I’m tired.
- *ring ring ring* HEY! wanna go to the park again?!
- *Emma’s body has been fighting the flu for multiple days. She has had symptoms like stuffy nose, sore throat, and a fever. These are all good signs her body is fighting off the virus
- *After about a week of fighting the flu Emmas T cells and B cells were able to produce antibodies to neutralize the virus and return Emma back to health. Her body also has created memory cells so her cells will know immediately and be able to attack if the same virus comes again. Even though she is symptom free Emma could still be contagious a few days after.*

Her memory cells will also remember this virus and will respond if the same virus tries to attack again. Even though she feels better now, she can still contaminate people with her saliva.*
