- Mr. Rodman and I are looking for recruits to join our wonderful trade union. Those of you who are interested, please follow us to the seminar room.
- Right this way please.
- These yellow forms are for membership. Please take one each so Miss West and I can guide you through its contents.
- Miss Willow West and Mr. William Rodman welcome the employees into the workplace, portraying their respect, diligence, and kindness towards the workers. This ensures employees that they are in a friendly and safe environment, where they would not be judged.
- Now that Mr. Rodman and I have explained the forms, does anyone have any questions they would like us to answer?
- Miss Willow West and Mr. William Rodman inform the employees that they will now be recruiting new members for the trade union, to protect workers' interests at the workplace and improve their working conditions and wages.
- What I'm about to ask is on behalf of everyone. How will we benefit, by joining the trade union, what's in it for us?
- Miss West and Mr. Rodman kindly offer the membership forms to workers with regards to them joining the trade union that they represent, and the workers respectfully as well as honestly accept the membership forms.
- Mr. Rodman and Miss West explain the contents of the membership forms, guiding the employees through each section of it. They clarify what information is needed, in order for the employees to become official members of the trade union. They tell the workers that they can ask questions if they are unsure about anything within the contents of the membership form or about the trade union.
- The workers ask Mr. Rodman and Miss West questions regarding specific sections of the membership form and about what the aims or objectives of the trade union are. The employees wonder how they will benefit from joining the trade union.
- The two shop stewards provide the workers with valid and reasonable responses. They explain that the trade union strives for human dignity, effective service delivery, the protection of their member's rights, and for better wages including working conditions. Taking good care of our members is what we strive for.
