- I agree! I feel so protected and safe here because we can band together for more protection and we have high walls and gates. It's also nice that if there is an attack we can band together with other villages.
- Hello neighbor! I like our village because we can meet new people from other families like you. Our village also has so many people around 1-2 hundred its so cool. I also like that the leader is choosen for his wisdom and strngth.
- No way that is so cool! I just learned that they collected tribute from people they conquered which meant they accepted the kings authority and this tribute they had to pay but also make the rulers even richer.
- I just learned that trade was the major factor in the rise of the west African kingdom. I also learned that cities changed to become kingdoms because wealthy merchants could afford to raise large armies and then the large armies could conquer other trading areas nearby and the nearby ruler could take over trade of those areas and become more even more wealthier
