- It's Christmas eve and Scruge is working in his office. He doesn't celebrate Christmas it is the only day where his employees don't have to work.
- His old business partner who died on Christmas eve comes to visit Scruge as a ghost. He warns him that three other ghosts are coming to visit him. Christmas past, present and future.
- The ghosts of Christmas past and present show him that he has wasted the other Christmases and missed out on things.
- Then the ghost of Christmas future shows Scruge the graves of Tiny Tim and him.
- Scruge tries too make everything right and give his workers the day off and rises their salary
- Scrounge starts to celebrate Christmas Day and starts giving money to the poor
