  • A Presentation was given - trainer asked lots of questions to get all trainees involved, information about subject matter was given
  • We have time to do some work book activities and ask any questions we may have from the presentation.
  • We then got given a partner for a discussion - everyone was paired up with someone with different background in the railway so we all had different views on what and how a possession is taken and the effects it has on that department. we were asked to plan taking a possession and what consideration we had to take.
  • we were ask to build using lego blocks how we think the possession would run and to create a list of things we would have to consider before the possession would run and then to present them to the group
  • We went on to a heritage railway and play out different parts of the possession and try out different roles involved in taking a possession
  • We discuss about being out on track and how what we learnt in the classroom plays a part in real track operations.
