- the Host tells the Pardoner to cheer everyone up after the Physician's depressing tale. he starts preaching about how he wants everyoneto shop forhis relics so their sinsmay beforgiventhenhe can getmore cash.
- Climax
- Three men eating and drinking outside of a bar; hear a funeral bell and an old servant involves declare that one in all their friends has been killed by mysterious figure referred to as Death. They lead off a journey to seek out Death to induce revenge on him.
- Falling Action
- The three men don't desire to face reality and accept Death. Instead, they'd rather kill Death before he can last to kill anyone else especially being one in every of them.
- Resolution
- Upon arriving, they play a game where whoever draws the shortest straw has got to go get food and wine. The youngest one draws the shortest straw and goes to induce food and wine for the three of them. the opposite two decide to murder him once he comes back. They stab him to death.
- They then just want to relax and dump what crime they've just committed. they begin drinking and eating all of the food and wine that the youngest one has brought while he's dead.
- Indeed they all meet the mysterious figure Death.
