- The boy lay bleeding in the rain. He had been stabbed ten minutes ago, but he had heard a voice saying, “That‟s for you Royal!” He heard footsteps hurry away in the rain. Then he had fallen to the sidewalk. Holding his stomach, he had tried to stop the blood. His name is Andy.
- Andy
- That's for you Royal!
- Andy
- He heard footsteps at the other end of the alley. A man had came down the alley. Andy could not speak. He could barely move. He smelled alcohol and knew the man was drunk.
- uh uh....
- Did you fall down buddy?
- You're too young to be drinking anyway
- This time you get off easy, s'long buddy
- Andy
- You alright? You cut?
- mhm
- A couple came into the alley. They were running from the rain. It was then he wondered if he was dying. He tried not to speak. He tried not to move. Finally a grunt came from his lips.“What was that?” the girl said. “Go look, Freddie.”
- Andy
- The boy saw THE ROYALS on the jacket then. He turned to the girl...
- He's a royal!
- *nods*
- Okay let's go.
- What do we do? If we help him the Guardians will come after us, we have to get out of here! I'm sorry.
- Laura I think I am dying and I need you. I miss you!
- I cannot die a royal, I need to be Andy.
