- Nelson Mandela is a historical figure who believes that black people should deserve as many human rights as white people. So, he created a movement to summon as many people as possible to fight for their rights.
- CLIMAX
- You have been found guilty for four charges of sabotage, along with other bombing attack charges. You will be sentenced to life in prison
- As the inequality and discrimination were going too far, Mandela and his people decided to launch bombing attacks on the government's target and made plans for warfare.
- FALLING ACTION
- Mandela was arrested and sentenced to 5 years in prison because he opposed the Apartheid law. Additionally, he also launched quite a few bombing attacks.
- RESOLUTION
- The judge's decision shocked many. He made a lengthy statement from the dock on 20th April 1964. In his statement, he explained the history and motives of the ANC and MK, admitting to many of the charges against him and defending his use of violence.

- Mandela and the other six non-white defendants were sent to the prison on Robben Island, a former leper colony located off the coast of Cape Town.
- After 27 years, President F. W. de Klerk released him in 1990. Mandela and de Klerk led efforts to negotiate an end to apartheid, which resulted in the 1994 multiracial general election in which Mandela led the ANC to victory and became president.
