- Yeah you are lucky to get even the scraps from the hunt
- Hey guys can I finally go hunting for food with you?
- No you are a beastman who is unlike us and therefore we see you as inferior
- Wow , once again look at all the food in the jungle. It will never go away.
- Yeah we don't need the sharp senses of that less than beastman.
- Oh no, our amazing hunting area is burning.
- I'll get some water.
- At least the castle is ok since it is mostly surrounded by the moat. Let's extinguish the fire.
- Cygor was born a beastman due to a genetic mutation. He has always been different and therefore treated poorly by the "real" humans inside the prospering castle since he and another beastwomen were the only members of the beastman race. They were on an island.
- What about Igor the beastman he will be able to catch the elusive prey.
- No, no matter what we will never rely on that less than creature Cygor.
- The human hunters were arrogant since hunting was so easy for them due to the optional position of the castle. They believed that they would never not have an easy hunt.
- Hey guys I know that your hunts haven't been successful but I managed to catch a few boars and a moose if you are hungry.
- No we would rather starve to death than accept food from the likes of you
- Minds clouded by their arrogance the humans never planned for what would happen if disaster struck and their easy lives got destroyed. The hunting grounds were also destroyed and as a result the easy prey were gone.
- Looks like this will be another successful hunt for us beastmen.
- The land is now mostly barren. Most of the animals residing there have fled or burned in the fire. Now it is very difficult to capture food since only the most elusive animals survived. Only the beastman with his fast speed and great reflexes could catch the prey.
- We have been out here for 2 days and have barely seen anything and what we did see was impossible to catch.
- Even though the humans knew they couldn't catch food themselves, blinded by their pride, they refused to eat the food caught by the beastman. Only the beastwomen ate the food he procured and they prospered while the other humans starved.
- I agree
- 100 years later and there is not a single human around the area of the hunting grounds or castle. Over this time the bestman and beastwomen fell in love and had many children who prosper in the land. While the forest has grown back for the most part before that happened the last human had died of starvation. The beastmen with the successful adaptation continued to thrive and reproduce.
