- Jumping in the car after not seeing my mom all week I was excited
- Arriving at home where I could smell the salt water breeze I marched inside the house, wondering if my siblings knew we were going yet.
- I replied with excitement"where"
- My mom said "We're all going on a family vacation to Saint Thomas"
- While my mom was looking to go sailing i figured out our family plus my moms business partner whos is practically family.
- WHich sailing charter should we go on, this one has snorkeling.
- After standing in a security line forever we were ready for take off.
- After landing at a small airport we walked down a big set of stairs like ones at a house,walking out i could feel the humidity and smell how strong the salt water was here. After walking ou t of the airport we looked for our car.
- "Here's the car" I yelled
- "You ready for takeoff Channing?" mom said
- After naming our car Blue =berry delight and racing the car through the Hills we were close to the condo.
- Shelby gets to be on first class this flight, next flight ill be with her.
- "Of course this is the best part" I replied
- "What a nice dinner, the cheese cake was my favorite" Shelby said
- After getting to the condo the girls took upstairs while Cameron and I took downstairs.
- "For sure, we'll also need some sleep for tomorrow since we're sailing" I said
- Being on the second best beach I naturally hopped in the water feeling the slimey orange seaweed on my skin.
- After waking up we expected to go sailing until our charter was cancelled due to a tropical storm.
- Mom decided that we should have a beach day so we did, not letting the sailing trip ruin our vacation.
- Waking up ready to sail once again we got a text from Wess "My boat isn't starting we cant go out sorry" so with morale low we chilled all day and went to bed.
- Later that night Mom called around everywhere when we found a guy named Wess who said he would take us out tomorrow.
- As soon as I got close to falling asleep my mom's phone got a call from Wess, my sister picked it up and a couple seconds later yelled "We can go sailing!" hearing that me and Cameron ran up the stairs excited. After a bit of discussing we all went to bed excited for what tomorrow would hold.
- Later that morning we packed the car and headed to the harbor where we met Wess and got everything ready to sail
- Arriving at Christmas cove we snorkeled seeing coral, fish, and even and eagle ray! After an an amazing lunch we packed up the boat.
- On the way back to shore Cassidy got to learn sailing with Wess, while I had to hear my Mom and Cameron argue my mom said "I all ready told you to stop drinking earlier you're going to ruin our trip" while Cameron had brung up the point "Im 21"
- While sailing to CHristmas cove we learned more about all the Island and about Wess while cameron had a couple drinks
- When we got on our plane I got to sit in the cockpit and take pictures, I also thought about what I would do on my 5 hour flight
- Once we got back to shore we tried to shower in our condo before we left for the airport; however, the cleaners were already there.
- So we showered at the beach bar; it felt like a movie, especially when the bartender turned the water off for a second when we had shampoo in our hair
- Once I was on the plain I came to the conclusion that good always comes around. And making the best of bad situations is the best way to live. Also while traveling live like someone who lives there
