- Distance Learning is how I CONNECT with my students!
- This is a look at what my "New Normal" looks like. Since March 13th, 2020, I have spent a lot of time at home!
- It's another Zoom Conference!
- My "New Normal" is based on the global pandemic Covid-19, and the health standards and restrictions mandated in California. To stay safe, I stay at home and practice social distancing.
- I LOVE family time!
- I meet with my students through Distance Learning , and use Google Classroom to push out assignments communicate. I even finished my Master's degree in March, but cannot "walk" due to Covid-19.
- Connecting with my Professional Learning Network, such as my colleagues at work, or my CSUSM Summer Writing Institute, was safe and easy! We Zoomed through the day, collaborating and sharing ideas.
- The "Silver Lining" throughout my new normal: the quality time spent with my family... cooking, playing games, and taking care of my new granddaughter Hallie.
- Although we are still in the middle of a Pandemic, and COVID-19 is still rising, I am staying connected with my family at home, and my students and colleagues virtually. My new normal... it's not so bad!
