- HEY oxygen i'm doing great it's so nice to see you
- hey i had a quick question do you have any electrons you think i could have?

- yes but why do you need?
- well i need them because i want to have all 8 electrons so i could feel complete.
- oxygen
- well that's actually great because i have two electrons that i wanted to get rid of because they didn't make me complete.

- Oh that's fantastic because because since your a metal and i'm a non-metal that makes us a ionic bond and is also a type of intramolecular bonding

- wow i had no idea that we could be attractive to each other in that way
- wow thanks Magnesium now i have 8 electrons also our intermolecular are different because the attractions are different.

- yep no problem now i have all 8 electrons too so we are both happy and also i have a ion-dipole and you have a dipole-dipole. lets go to a restaurant and talk more about this.
