  • The Prooclamation of 1763 was made by the British to make peace with the India s by checking the tresspassing settlers on their lands.It forbid settlers to move beyond the Appalacian Mountains and allowed England to control the westward expansions
  • The Boston Masacre of 1770
  • The stamped act was an act that charged tax to the 13 colonies. Colonists were required to buy paper with a Britian stamp to prove that they paid tax.Colonists believed that it was a way to make England richer.

  • The Townshend Acts were acts passed by the British Parliament in 1767, that taxed goods imported to the American colonies. The acts also made the law that required colonists too provide quarters and supplies for British troops in America

The colonists provoked the British soldiers who then opened fire on the crowd, killing five colonists
  •  On May 10th, 1773, Great Britian passed the Tea Acts. It only allowed the British East India Company to sell its tea directly to the colonists. It hurt the colonial merchants because they were not allowed to sell tea.On December 16, 1773 Members of the Sons of Liberty dressed up as Mohawk Native Americans and boarded British ships in the Boston Harbor. They Dumped 342 chests of tea over board and made sunone of the tea would be sold
  • King George III wanted to punish the colonists for the Boston Tea Party so on March 24,1774, new laws were passed that the colonists called the Intolerable Acts. These acts allowed the British government to take full control of the colonies. One of the acts was the Boston Port Act which closed the Boston Harbor for trade until the East India Company had been repaid for the tea that was destroyed during the Boston Tea Party
