- Amanda and her friends are going to a movie but before it starts her friend stops to get a joint. Her friend offers her the joint. Amanada is now faced with a dificult decision.
- She has three options...
- Do you want to smoke a joint with us?
- Do I smoke the joint with my friends and have a good time before the movie starts?
- My friends might think I'm not cool but I know marijuana has negative impacts
- Marijuana is a drug in the stimulant, hallucinogen, and depressant category.
- Or do I not accept the joint but still hang out with them before the movie starts?
- I won't experience the negative effects of marijuana but I might still feel unsafe with them.
- Marijuana can decrease IQ and cause memory loss on the teenage brain.
- Or should I not smoke the joint, tell my friends I need to go home, and have my mom come pick me up?
- I won't face the negative impacts of marijuana but my firends will think I'm lame and my parents probably won't let me hang out with them again
- Two effects of marijuana include impaired memory and loss of some mental abilites.
- I value my mental and physical health and my conscious is telling me saying yes is a bad decision.
- Come on! It will be fun don't worry.
- Amanda decides that the best option would to have her mom pick her up. Her mom is realy understanding and they decide to go to the movie together instead.
- I'm so glad I made this decision because risking my health is not worth one fun night with my friends.
