  • Colonists are not allowed on the west side of these mountains.
  • The Proclamation of 1763 was a document that was sent out showing wear people couldn't settle. They were not to settle on the west side of the Appalachia Mountains. It was put into effect to appease the Native Americans after the French and Indian War. This may have angered colonists because the west side of the mountains had cheaper lands.
  • No fair!

  • The Townshend Act was an act that had many laws past. One of these laws allowed the British to search the Colonists houses and their business. Another law was the tax. The purpose of this was to get more money to the British so they can pay for expenses. The Colonists could have been upset because British people were entering their homes and they had to pay taxes. This act was implemented in 1767.

  • You all have to pay this fine because you dumped tea in the ocean!

  • The Boston Port is also now closed!
  • The Intolerable Acts consist of 5 different acts. One of them being the Boston Port Act. The Boston Port Act was an act that closed the Boston Port and made colonists pay a large fine for the tea that was dumped in the ocean. The fine was for to make back the money for all the tea dumped in the water.
