Romeo and juliet Act 3 scene 1

Mercutio and Tybalt begin to fight. Romeo, attempting to restore peace, throws himself between the two. Tybalt stabs Mercutio under Romeo's arm. Tybalt runs away then comes back trying to fight romeo. Romeo does not want to fight him but he knows he might have to. They fight and Romeo ends up killing tybalt. The regular people in the town see this and are terrified. They go and tell the authorities that it was all Romeo's fault but it really was. This scene was important because it shows the rising actions and the climax. Now Romeo will not be able to see Juliet anymore because he is exiled from Verona. This leads to the rest of the story by showing us the conflict of the two families and how it leads to Romeo and Juliet in the end.
