  • Children are born with unique ways to express things like hunger or pain. When they are hungry, they make a sound or move a certain way to let the parent know to feed them. They are born with this skill because it is how they communicate before they can actually speak.

  • Another thing that babies do to learn language is watch what other people do. Children start to notice that people react to their sounds and movements and star to understand how other people express what they want and need. They begin to understand the sounds and gestures people use to talk. Give them as many chances as you can to learn other people
