- In the Haudenosaunee they have a grand council which consists of one hoyaneh from each tribe and the clan mothers from each clan.The grand council makes the big decisions about what will happen in haudenosaunee.
- it all starts at the different tribes where the chief address the matter at hand.The tribe has to agree on a way to solve the matter so that the chief can represent his tribe at the ground council.they make the decision on where the tribe will stand in the grand council.
- after all the nations have made a decision the chiefs of the nation will come together to reach consensus.
- if consensus is not reached the chiefs will return to there nation and come up with new ideas
