- Hi i'm Nataputta Mahavira the founder of Jainism. Jainism was brought into the world in India about a similar period as Buddhism.
- Ahimsa in Jainism is a fundamental principle forming the cornerstone of its ethics and doctrine. Ahinsa was included as a fundamental principle by the 24th and last tirthankar of Jainism, Lord Mahavir and was not included by earlier tirthankars of Jainism.
- Aparigraha is a philosophy that holds that no one or anything possesses anything. ln Jainism, aparigraha is the virtue of non-possessiveness, non-grasping or non-greediness.Aparigraha is one of the virtues in Jainism. It is also one of the five vows that both householders and ascetics must observe. This Jain vow is the principle of limiting one's possessions and limiting one's desires.
- The three main pillars of Jainism are ahiṃsā (non-violence), anekāntavāda (non-absolutism), and aparigraha (non-attachment).
- Anekantavada is the Jain doctrine about metaphysical truths that emerged in ancient India. It states that the ultimate truth and reality is complex and has multiple aspects .According to Jainism, no single, specific statement can describe the nature of existence and the absolute truth.
- In Jainism, death is not seen as a final moment where souls leave earth and enter an eternal world. Instead, death is linked to birth and the cycle of reincarnation. is merely the soul's way of continuing the rebirth cycle. The form the soul takes for its next cycle depends on accumulated karma.

- The leader of the relgion Jainism is Bhadrabahu I, who died 298 bce, IndiaToday there are some six million Jains worldwide, and they represent less than 2% of India's population. The Jain community in India is centred in Rajasthan and Gujarat. Many migrated to East Africa and from there to Britain, where the community is around 30,000.
