- The Pennsylvanian farmers were mad because they were getting taxed unfairly for whisky. They decided to protest to stop unfair taxation.
- George Washington decided to go with Hamilton's idea to shut down the protest by sending the militia. They didn't end up harming anyone.

- I am resigning from being a president. I'm choosing to do this so the United States doesn't become a monarchy. Another reason is to send boundaries for the next coming presidents and so they can make more decisions. This is a very important day because this is the last day the first ever president will be in office.

- The Americans (also referred to as X, Y, and Z) refused to give up money for the bribe. They knew that if they gave the French money then other countries would come asking too. They also were supporting Great Britain in the war, not the French.
- The French were fighting a war against Great britain and needed money for support. They decided to try and bribe the American's for money. The french referred to 3 Americans as X, Y, and Z.
