In around 1752, when Washington was 20, he fought in the French and Indian War.
After the war, Washington returned to Virginia and worked as a farmer in 1760.

In 1789, George Washington partook in the president election, and found out he was elected for president.
As president, George Washington spoke out against unfair laws and high taxes.
After George Washington's death on December 14th, 1799, Washington D.C was named after him in his honor.
