Crispin: At the Edge of the World
Storyboard Tekst
- After seeing a sign advertising food in front of a house, Crispin and Bear decide to stop and rest. The man there was part of the guild that Bear was a part of, the ones that committed treason. They realize he thinks Bear betrayed them and as they run away he shoots at them. The arrow hits Bear in his hand.
- A girl finds them lost in the woods and takes them to Aude, a very old woman who isn't Christian, which makes Crispin afraid of her. She begins the process of healing Bear and he's on the road to recovery when she is summoned to a nearby village. A woman is giving birth and unfortunately, both the woman and baby die. Inraged, the husband of the woman riles up a mob and they kill Aude. Troth, the girl who lived with Aude, goes with Crispin and Bear.
- After some days of travelling, the trio reaches a Rye, a port city recently attacked by the French. There they seek passage on a cog heading to Flanders.
- After a violent storm, the ship washes ashore with only Bear, Crispin, Troth, and a dead sailor tangled in rope still aboard. They wade ashore and climb up cliffs to reach a vast plain with some trees on the horizon. Troth and Crispin find a group of heavily armed men camped around a fire. They take Bear to them. The men are former English soldiers questing in France. They decide to use this group of weary travellers to their advantage in their next scheme.
- As Troth and Crispin sneak into the church to steal treasure, the soldiers mount an attack on the walled city. Bear is tied to the leader's saddle so he doesn't escape.
- In the heat of battle, Bear breaks free and the three of them escape once again. But this time Bear isn't as lucky as he had been and dies in the night from injuries acquired in battle.
