- My name is Tyler and I'm going to teach you about insertion.

- Firstly, insertion is a mutation that involves the addition of one or more nucleotides (base pairs) of DNA. The addition of nucleotides can range from one nucleotide to a whole chromosome Each letter represents one nucleotide. 3 nucleotides = 1 amino acid. There are two base pairs, Adenine and thymine (A T) and Cytosine and Guanine (C and G). For example the first base on the top left is Adenosine, the pair for it is Guanine which is in the top right. These will need to line up. During insertion an extra base is added causing a mutation.

- Huntington's Disease is a disease related to insertion of Dna. This disease is a disorder in the nerves in parts of the brain that break down and die. There is no way of curing this disease or to stop it from getting worse currently.
