the backstory of my antagonist's rise to power and descent into madness/basic idea of protagonist/antagonist conflict
Storyboard Tekst
- Antagonist was loyal soldier, leading men into victory over this kingdom and slaying the king himself in honorable combat. As reward, he was gifted the castle and citizens in its walls.
- Over time, he and his royal family became beloved by the people. He was more of a leader than the old king ever was.
- Upon waking one morning, he discovered his spouse murdered, their blood harvested by headmaster of arcane guild for a recipe before he escaped unseen.
- The king nearly went mad after years of solitude. Suicide was no option as he was obligated to his kingdom. He pondered resurrection...
- To aid in his plot, he enlisted a witch and his most dangerous warrior. They opened a portal which allowed him to see his family trapped in the realm, but also allowed some dead to travel back.
- With the dead risen, all kingdoms are on edge and prepared for defense. Paranoia takes root and kingdoms turn against one another. War is in place and begins our hero's journey.
