- Katherine is best prepared to handle being transported to the 15th Century.
- In the text it says “ but because she could throw herself so wholeheartedly into someone else's cause, because she could care so much and try so hard from the sidelines.”(Page 225). This evidence supports my claim because it shows that Katherine is willing to fight for and support others, even if it doesn’t involve her. She was willing to investigate and put effort into finding out who the witnesses and survivors were, even without being on the list or being adopted.
- In the text it says “I’m not leaving you and Chip.’ She crossed her arms; stubbornly, and jutted out her lower lip like she always did anytime she fought with Jonah…. ‘Besides, you need me around to figure things out”.(page 240) To stick with her brother and Chip, without knowing what will happen or how dangerous it could be, shows that Katherine is able to think quickly on her feet, put others’ needs ahead of hers, and is quick thinking.
