- Since the pandemic started, I just spend all my time indoors, playing my guitar and watching video tutorials on YouTube on how to play a piano.
- “How are you doing today Gyzyl? All of the house plans and sketches on your profile look pretty cool!”
- But one day, as I was scrolling from phone screen, I saw Ivan in my friend suggestion and that was it, I was completely totally hooked.
- “Yes, how about you?”
- “Hi... Are you going to attend the youth fellowship this Saturday?”
- We became friends on Facebook and overtime, watching his "My Days" and liking his posts became a part of my routine. That’s when I discovered, we have the same religion.
- Our God is mighty to save!
- Until, he started reacting to the house designs that I posted on Facebook and I was shocked when he messaged me right after that.
- Since then, we would talk on messenger and discuss about the things we have in common. Fortunately, the GCQ has been lifted and religious activities were once again allowed.
- “That’s great! See you there!”
- So yeah, Ivan and I finally met in person but I didn’t expect him to sit beside me. We both take notes about the lectures, we listened to the Pastor, and we sang praises songs to God.
