- Stanley is accused of stealing shoes from a famous athlete , but instead of going in jail he goes to camp green lake

- Stanley and his family have always thought they were cursed by his great great grandfather when he did not keep his promise to a gypsy women and Stanley Yelnats the first was robbed by Kissn kate barlow.
- Resoultion
- when zero was digging Stanley's hole but the other boys got jealous of him and Stanley and Zig Zag started fighting when zero began to choke Zig Zag and Zero hit Mr. Pendanski was hit by zero with a shovel and Zero ran away
- Denoument
- After a few day Stanley ran away looking for zero and found him in a boat they then went to gods thumb zero became very weak and Stanley carried him up gods thumb and gave him water and sang a song breaking the curse of Stanley's great great grandfather
- When Stanley found Stanley Yelnats the first treasure the warden found them in the hole and after a while Stanley's lawyer came and got Stanley and Zero to take them home. When they were leaving it started to rain.
- When Stanley and Zero got back from Camp Green Lake Stanleys dad was sucessful and they were rich after they cashed in the treasure. Zero found his mom and they are happy
