Storyboard Tekst
- The Hawaiian creation myth starts with a world filled with endless darkness. Later two beings were born ; Kumulipo and Po'ele .
- Kumulipo and Po'ele then gave birth to Pouliuli and Powehiwehi. They then created the creatures of the almost darkness. Once these creatures had offspring, the darkness got a bit brighter.
- Later on, Pouliuli and Powehiwehi gave birth to a third Po'el'ele and pohana. They then created the darkness near dawn; the insects that fly at night, the caterpillar, the grasshopper and a large egg. The egg later hatched into thousands of birds that sing and fly before dawn.
- The fish, the birds and the insects all had offspring. When a new creature came into the world it added some light to the darkness. Born next were Popanopano and Polelo Wehi who gave birth to the sea turtles, lobsters, and shellfish. These creatures live in the shallow waters near darkness.
- Po'hiolo and Po'ne'a'ku where born after and they then created the rat Pilo'I and the pig Kamapua'a. Which are both creatures of the day and night.
- By dawn the earth was full with new life from all these amazing creatures. K'i and La'ila'a were born shortly after but they were beoth dark since they were born at dawn. They created many children, and each generation there skins became lighter. The earth is now brighter from all these beautiful creatures.
