- The Shephard family was a happy normal family, until Emily Shepherd's father found the most popular girl at school, Ashlee. She went missing and dead in the woods by their house.
- Introduction
- Jon Shepherd was pleading guilty, despite not having any memoryof the night, all because of his time in the military giving him flashbacks and being panicked. Thislead to a lot of people picking on Emily for having a 'murderer'as a father, including Damon, Ashlee'sboyfriend. Emily was the one who didn't think her father killed Ashlee Parker.

- Damon was with Ashlee that night, but he was high and couldn't remember anything, and began getting flashbacks of strangling Ashlee, and knew where her missing items were, like her collar and her phone. This led him to think he was the one who killed her instead, and when he found Ashlee's phone, he looked through it to try and find out what happened.
