- About 20 minutes after the officer left. A man walks toward the man who is waiting at the doorway of the store
- I was patrolling the street, the time was barely 10'o clock at night. When I saw a man leaning on the doorway of the darkened hardware store with a unlighted cigar on his mouth . As I walk up to him. He spoke up quickly
- It's alright, officer. I'm just waiting for a friend. It's an appointment made 20 years ago. Sounds a little funny to you, doesn't it? Well I'll explain to you if you'd like to make certain it's all straight.
- About that long ago, there used to be a restaurant where this store stands " BIG JOE, BRADY'S RESTAURANT"
