Gina's story

- Gina's story made me think about time when my first son was born. I remember the day when I went for an emerginy check up appoitnment. I was in so much pain. I thought I am about to have a heart attack. My doctor told me that my baby have to come out today or I can die. My son was breach, and I had Hellp syndrom. I was not sure what that meant. At that time I put my trust into my doctor's heands and I prayed to God.
- I was told that communication is always important in any type of relationship. Communication line should be open between principal, parent coordinator and parents or children. I will help to keep that communication line open. I will bring any concers or questions that parent or a child might have.
- I will maintain regular meetings schedule with parents. I will keep principal update about our meetings.
- After reading and watching about Gina, her storty is a true inspiration to others. As a mother, I cannot imagine to have a child with a rare genetic problems.
- I will do my best to attend to these meetings. We are here to help you. Do you have any questions?
- My heart goes out to Gina. She did not give up because of her family love and support. Gina's family did not give up on her. My favorite part of Gina's story was where is her grandmother said "there is nothing wrong with her." That was a beautiful moment.
- I will always have a flexible time for my student's parents. I can communicate with paretns anyway they want. Over the phone, I can do meetings or even through emails. I am going to establish save learning environment for my students. I will also establish good relationship with parents.

- I will welcome parents to my classroom! Parents will be able to visit classroom and observe their kids. Also, parents will be able to observe their kids during the engement part. I will share any progress or any growth with children's parents.
