- There is kinetic and gravitational energy when the ball is thrown at Jim.
- The ball hits Jim's face making the ball compress transforming it and compressing it to elastic. Some of the kinetic energy is transferring into Jim's face and the ball deforms.
- The kinetic energy is transferring from Jim's hand to the ball. Then from the ball to Penny's face which is kinetic transforming into elastic. Then transforms again when it bounces off his face.
- When Penny throws the ball he misses Jim but the ball hits the wall. When the ball hits the wall, the ball compresses and transforms its kinetic energy into elastic energy. When the ball compresses, it shoots off the wall and hits jim in the back.
- When Jim throws the ball at Penny, he catches it which makes the ball compress in his hands and then transforms kinetic energy into elastic energy. Also when Jim throws the ball in a slope the kinetic energy transfers into gravitational at the peak then transfer back to kentic on the slope down into Penny's arms.
