- Have yall heard about whats happening with the bluefin tuna in Japan ?
- Yeah I heard farmers take good care of the tuna and it is the best place to get it.
- What is so important about bluefin tuna?
- Look around, every where you go provides sushi and the number one item on the menu is tuna. The high demand of tuna is causing over fishing and possible extinction.
- Well fishermen are creating tuna farms to try and preserve them so we have tuna if they go extinct.
- I guess the farms might actually preserve them and hopefully they don go extinct.
- The United States is one of the biggest consumers of bluefin tuna sushi and is in high demand for it. If they go extinct than a lot of sushi restaurants will be impacted a lot and possibly go out of business.
- If the bluefin tuna go extinct the Japanese market along with a lot more will lose a ton of money and will not be able to provide enough money to keep there business up and going.
- If the Bluefin would to go extinct it would effect a lot of sushi shop because tuna is some of the best sushi.
