- I issue a bunch of taxes, but the most important one is the Stamp tax. Place it on all stamps. Revenue will be coming in.
- This is the Treaty of 1763, the French had to give up all the Northern land, including Canada and between the Appalachian mountains and the Mississippi river. Spain had to give up Florida.

- The Proclamation of 1763 stated, that we will give the Indians land for peace and trade. The American colonists had to move out of the west, and it was all for the "protection" of the colonists.
- The Stamp Act of 1765 was a tax placed on stamps. Everyone needed stamps, especially for newspapers, licenses, and legal documents. People only got their news form the newspapers and people are always getting married, so they need stamps for licenses. People also needed them for legal documents. But because of the British colonies pressure, Great Britain removed the act.
- The Liberty Boys are a group affiliated with the Sons of Liberty. They were unhappy with the unfair tax, so despite the influence of Governor Wright, they still protested and didn’t pay the tax.

- 1st congress is when other American colonies were outraged and joined in sympathy with Massachusetts. They believed that the British Parliament was violating their rights. 12 out of the 13 colonies were present (GA didn't send anyone). It was held in Philadelphia 1774. Members wrote protests to England and boycotted British goods. Also pledged military support to Massachusetts against the British army.
