- Storyboard by Ramique Porter- 10-29-19 The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan takes place in the past but not too long ago in NYC. Characters we meet are Percy and Grover. Percy is a 12 year old boy who is from NYC and he gets in trouble a lot. Grover is a shy kid, on crutches with a lot more hair than a normal 12 year old boy, which seems a little suspicious.
- Climax
- GET OUT OF THE UNDERWORLD NOW!!!!!!!!
- Percy gets into a fight at the museum with his math teacher who was actually a monster who is trying to kill him. Percy realizes he's a demigod, Grover is satyr and his other teacher is a centaur. Percy's mom takes him to a camp where half bloods and satyrs stay during the summer but there stopped by a Minotaur. Percy's mom risked her life to save Percy and Grover.
- Falling Action
- I'm sorry Luke...
- After Percy's has been at camp for a little he still doesn't know which god his father is, until when he gets hurt and then the water heals him meaning his father is Poseidon. He then gets a quest that he an another girl he meets, Annabeth a daughter of Athena. The quest is for them to find out who stole Zeus lightning bolt. Luke there camp counselor has also gone missing the same day the bolt did.
- Resolution
- WE DID IT!!!!!!!!
- PERCY! PERCY! PERCY! PERCY! PERCY!
- Percy and Annabeth have been looking for so long but no luck. They went to talk to Hades and he got furious of being accused. So they started to think maybe it wasn't a god who took it, maybe it was a camper. Maybe that camper was Luke.
- What if Luke took it?
- Percy meets Luke on rooftop where they end up fighting because of what Luke did. Percy asked why he did this. Luke explains he tired of the gods not treating the Hermes kids with the respect they deserve so he took the lightning bolt to turn the gods against each other. The fight ended with Percy using his powers to push Luke of the roof top.
- Percy and Annabeth have returned the lightning bolt to Zeus. Percy is finally beginning to feel more comfortable at camp. Annabeth is worried about why Luke did what he did and what has happend to him. Everything is fine...for now.
- LUKE NOOOOO!
