- We had finally started the interview after days of procrastination. For what reason, neither of us knew. My only assumption would be the touchiness of the subject of parenthood.
- You sure you're ready?
- Okay, describe the scene when you had me, visually and mentally.
- Yup lets get started.
- Her eyes lit up and she began to answer instantly, which took me by surprise. Was it effortless to answer the question or was the answer effortless?
- Well, you were a scheduled C-Section. On the way there, your father was freaking out. However, I was overwhelmed with joy and could think of nothing but finally meeting you.
- Here we come, Kyle.
- It was a grueling process, no doubt about it. But the moment they put you in my arms, I knew it was all worth it and whatever was to come, we would face as a family.
- What if he doesn't have all his fingers and toes?!
- As we waited for the procedure to begin, we chatted with the doctor and it seemed to calm your father down. Honestly my nerves started to rattle but it wasn't bad or noticeable.
- It ALL began to hit me when I was suddenly surrounded by doctors and lights. It was time.
