- The species of tigers moved to a new environment. They have variations in the color of their fur. The parents obviously notice the color difference in their children's fur coat. The three colors include dark brown, light brown, and beige. Only one child was passed down their dark brown fur color.
- Competition
- The parents decided to have more children because they realize they want more companions for their children. They have a lot of children, but sadly, this can be very dangerous. Not all of them will be able to survive.
- Natural Selection
- After the first child developed the trait of dark brown fur many other of the siblings reproduced that trait, too, as shown in the previous stage of overproduction.
- Speciation
- The tigers are fighting over the few foods that are available. Since the dark fur tigers are larger, they will most likely survive
- The darker colored species of tigers were larger and are the majority that survived. There are a few left of the other species, but not so many.
- After many generations, the dark fur tigers were able to survive, and the rest died out. Now, you only see the dark fur tigers living in the environment.
