- I've heard the sounds from her coffin for days now!
- There was a storm brewing outside one night when. Usher came to see the narrator, in an extremely bad condition as he had gotten worse after Madeline's passing. The narrator read him a book in attempts to calm him down. Then, the horrid events of the book started to come true. Usher then began to get increasingly worse as they heard banging somewhere in the house. He admits something...

- Usher is sitting there and muttering about his sister when suddenly, Madeline, alive, bursts through the bedroom door covered in blood. She looks very angry. Then, she drops dead right on top of her brother, killing him as well. Now, both Ushers are dead.

- The narrator runs out of the house and hops on his horse. He ran away from the old and strange house as fast as he could. Thinking back upon the events that had just occurred, he looks back at the house. Upon looking, he sees a red sky and a red moon while the cracked house, crumbles to the ground. This was truly The Fall of The House of Usher.
