- Sir, please help I hurt my head.
- Whats happening right now is mitosis. Your body was in interphase when your cells were growing and doing general activities.
- The next step of mitosis is prophase. In prophase your spindle fibers and your chromosomes are visible along with the nuclear membrane. In the next step, metaphase, the chromosomes get in a line in the middle of the cell and the spindle fibers attach to them.
- After metaphase comes anaphase. In anaphase the chromosomes are pulled apart. After that is telophase. In telophase the cell divides almost into 2. Finally comes cytokinesis where the cells completely divide into two identical cells.
- That's really cool, I never knew that my cells did that.
